Sex work is a lucrative business in Uganda

A new lucrative business has cropped up in Uganda and a reasonable number of businessmen have started investing in it.

The new business involves organizing big numbers of sex workers and taking them wherever their services are needed.

Meet Sumaya Namanda, the new ‘pimp’ in town

One of those involved in the booming business is Sumaya Namanda, 45, who is making a kill after venturing into the sex work business two years ago.

”I realized that I could make money by looking for young women ready to work as sex workers and help them to get market in addition to training them on how to attract men,” said Namanda.

She teaches escorts the art of making men cum quickly

One of the lessons Namanda takes time to train the escorts is how to quickly make men get satisfied during sex.

The groups are made of between 10 and 30 sex workers. They move in groups wherever they are needed.

Bars and Clubs are their most popular markets

Namanda adds that most bars and clubs in Uganda request for their services because most men want to drink from where escorts are easily available.

Once at the bars and clubs, the escorts are given rooms where they sleep in groups from where men can go play sex with them.

Sugarcane plantations are the next best thing for sex workers

Another dealer of sex workers by the name of Harry Nsawule says that trading centers located near private sugarcane plantations and sugar factories are his most popular market.

”Men who work in sugar cane plantations are good clients of sex workers. Sex workers make a lot of money in such places and they pay us for organizing them and taking them to such places,” said Nsawule.

To facilitate sex, Nsawule and his ilk rent a few lodge rooms in trading centers for the sex workers from where they operate especially at night. Among the trading centers and towns popular are Ikumbya, Namwendwa. Mayuge, Kamuli, Kakira, Magamaga, Masindi, Naibalya, Musita, Mbiko, among others.

Nsawule adds that a group escorts do not stay in one place for over 2 weeks because the men get tired of seeing the same faces for a long time.

For every fuck that takes place, the group boss gets a commission.
