Prison warden rapes school girl

A senior officer working as a prison warden is on the run after defiling a school girl aged 12 years.

Francis Kulubya is in charge of Buwunga central government prison located in Masaka district, some 120KM from the country’s capital Kampala.

According to the area  police spokesman, Muhamad Nsubuga, Kulubya reportedly defiled the girl from his house located outside the prison premises.

After defiling the girl, the officer who is married and has a wife and children who stay in his home village some 30 kms away, warned the girl not to tell anybody about it or else he will harm her more. The brave girl, however, told her colleagues about it who later reported the matter to her parents.

Later the whole village learnt about the despicable act and people were incensed. They rose up and demonstrated against the rape. Some attacked his home with the intention of teaching him a lesson but the rapist prison warden managed to flee through the back door before he could be nabbed.

Mad the villages descended on his property but the police rushed to the scene and stopped them before they could burn his house down.

After police had managed to restore order, the police spokesperson condemned the runaway officer for the rape and also scolded members of the public for taking the law into their own hands saying two wrongs do make a right.

He promised that police will make sure that Kulubya is arrested and charged with defiling an under age girl.

Why rape when sex workers are available

Sex workers in the area have condemned the despicable act and wondered loud why one would rape a poor school girl when sex workers offering all manner of erotic services are available. 

”We are available here 24 hours night and day to help men satisfy their hungry for sex. Why did he go for such a young girl yet we could even serve  him sex on credit since he is a high ranking person.” Night Nakalanzi, one of the local sex workers said.
