Dead for love
On Tuesday evening, a man shot himself dead after his estranged wife refused to reunite with him back.
How it went down
The man, who separated from his wife in September last year went to visit the woman at her house in Haadi apartments in Muthangari in Nairobi, Kenya.
The deceased then apologise to her and beg her to take him back but woman adamantly refused.
Dejected, the man decided to end it all by shooting himself dead.
“When the wife declined to forgive him, he removed his pistol and shot at himself.

The police were called and a glock pistol and one spent cartridge were recovered from the scene.
Cases of men committing suicide because of love have been on the rise.
Last month, a 39 -year-old-man was found dangling from the roof of his house after a disagreement with his wife. The man identified as  David Kipliman Kiprono committed suicide after his wife Winnie Mulongo Wanyama said no to his request to have her identification card used to purchase a motorcycle on loan.
The man had earlier tried to stab his wife and her children while they were asleep but the wife raised an alarm which attracted the neighbours who rushed to the house and disarmed the man.
