What does being Gay got to do with it

Authorities in Uganda are concerned about the increasing number of people who left the country to seek asylum in USA and Europe but are now requesting to be allowed to come back to the country.

But they are not coming back alone.

Wives and Children in Tow

While addressing the press in Kampala, the minister of foreign affairs, Jeje Odong said that they are wondering how people who ran away claiming they are being persecuted for being homosexuals are now coming back with wives and children.

”We are receiving many applications from people who ran from the country saying the government was hunting them because they are gays. Interestingly  they are applying that they come back with their wives and children.” Odongo said.

Gays for Visa

Mr. Odongo added that to the best of his understanding gays cannot have children since they marry people of the same sex. He however added thar the cabinet is set to seat and discuss their plight and plea.

Jack Chesang, an official from the foreign ministry said that many people from Uganda lie to immigration officials in developed countries that they are gays seeking asylum while in actual sense they are not gays.

Thousands of Ugandans have successfully lied that they are homosexuals and have received asylum in Europe and USA.
