No Sex! No Peace: Women in Uganda go on a riot over sex

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Sexually starved women up in arms

On Monday, hundreds of women in the pearl of Africa hit the streets of Kampala to demonstrate against being starved sexually by their husbands.

The women, who are members of Uganda married women’s association, loudly lamented that apart from not being serviced and fucked frequently their husbands also no longer treat them like queens and don’t care about them like they used to do just before they got married.

After marching on the streets of Kampala chanting, the women converged at garden city. Elizabeth Nyamugasha, the chairperson of Uganda married women’s association, said that since COVID19 struck most married men in the country have become cold.

”Most of the married women in Uganda are complaining about their husbands not giving them care like they used to do especially before COVID 19.” Elizabeth said.

The women further complained that their husbands have also become frugal and selfish. The men reportedly eat good meals in restaurants as their wives starve at home eating only substandard meals because of the little money they leave behind to buy food.

“They leave very small amount of money to their wives to use everyday as they go to work.” said the chairperson.

Her deputy, Stella Namuli echoed her sentiments and went a step further accusing Ugandan husbands of soliciting services of escorts and sex workers after work while their wives back home gather dust and cobwebs. The same men then simply go home to sleep leaving their wives sexually staving.

“There are many sex workers who offer sex at cheap prices. Some of them are young and very beautiful which makes our husbands get attracted to them and so most of them opt to buy sex in town and leave their wives home cold and sexually starved.” Stella said.

Namuli appealed to authorities in the country to get rid of sex workers because they are contributing to the breaking up of families in the country.

However one of the leaders of the sex workers in Kampala, Justin Nekesa rebuffed the married women and said their sex game is what is down and they should take it as a challenge and work to satisfy their  husbands in bed.

“We are not the ones who tell their husbands to come and buy our services. They come to us because we know how to satisfy them sexually.”
