South Africans have been rocked by controversy over the explicit video of musician Zodwa Rebecca Libram better known as Zodwa Wabantu who’s renowned for her audacious performances. The viral video circulating on social media depicts an explicit act that was performed on Wabantu during a live performance contributing to an outcry from fans calling for the performer’s cancellation.
In the cosy footage that’s circulating across social media platforms, the video depicts Dr Jimro Tshabalala licking her pussy during a live performance. Ironically, Zodwa shared the explicit clip herself. Sunday World asked the dancer why she decided to share the explicit video to which she replied that she was engaged in a sexual act and felt the need to share the video. Zodwa also dispelled misconceptions about traditional healers asserting that they too have intercourse.
The content of the video was met with disdain and revulsion. Twitter users have questioned the place of this explicit content. South African activist Ntsiki Mazwai has called for the immediate cancellation of Wabantu. Zodwa came to light after her dance moves at a Durban-based Eyadini Lounge caught a lot of attention online. Zodwa has danced and performed across South Africa and the U.K. and enjoyed a successful dancing career that has been manned by numerous controversies. The most recent controversy on her leaked nudes left a mark on her career.
