Superstitious fisherman sodomises boy to increase his luck

Police officers in Nkozi are holding a man by the name Kasim Mukwaya who sodomized an 11-year-old boy in a boat.

The illegal act happened when during a fishing expedition in Lake Victoria.

Got permission from the boy’s mother

Mukwaya had reportedly asked the victim’s mother for permission to go fishing together.

The boy informed the mother about the incident and the mother in turn alerted police who arrested him.

Police spokesperson Fred Enanga confirmed that he will face charges of aggravated defilement.

Was following a witchdoctor’s advise

When asked by police why he sodomized the boy in the boat, Mukwaya said he had been told by a witch doctor that if he did so, he would catch a lot of fish.

”I beg for forgiveness. I was misled by a witch doctor that I will catch a lot of fish if I sodomized the boy,” he lamented.

Most fishermen in Uganda are superstitious and they often seek the services of witch doctors.
