A healthy diet is one of the defense mechanisms in delaying and combating prostate cancer. Nutritionist advice reducing your consumption of red meat, including beef, pork, lamb, and goat, and processed meats, such as bologna and hot dogs for a healthier prostate.

Cut down on sugar-sweetened drinks

Try to avoid sodas and many fruit juices for a healthy prostate.

Go green and eat more vegetables and fruits

Full of important vitamins and antioxidants to keep the whole of you healthy,  vegetables and fruits also go a long way in keeping your prostate healthy.

Nutritionists recommend eating at least five servings of a variety of colorful vegetables and fruits everyday. Go for those with deep, bright color.

Cut down canned foods and white bread

Instead of munching white bread eat instead whole-grain bread. Similarly reduce your intake of  canned, processed, and frozen foods.
