Popular actor and film director Philip Karanja has shared details about his experiences with fatherhood. The father of two asserted that he doesn’t intend to have more children with another woman following a scary incident in the delivery room during the delivery of his daughter. In a YouTube conversation with his friends Abel Mutua, Judy Nyawira and comedian Njugush, Philip reflected on his role as a father to his four-year-old daughter and teenage son.
Philip recalled the day his daughter was born, recounting the anxiety and the anticipation that engulfed him. He shared, “I remember the day vividly when Kate went into labour. I had prayed for her to deliver at night when there would be less traffic. When she woke me up at 4 am saying her water broke, I was initially confused, but thankfully, we were prepared. We waited for her best friend to arrive,”

Philip expressed his admiration for women’s resilience during the childbearing process and emphasized how witnessing his wife undergo the delivery process had an impact on him. The harrowing experience left a lasting impression on him making him reach the conclusion never to make another woman pregnant.
He asserted that he wouldn’t want to see another person going through the same experience. ” After witnessing the entire process, I made a decision that I am
never going to impregnate another lady ever again. Why would I subject someone’s daughter to that ordeal again? No, I refuse to put any human being through such a challenging and life-threatening experience.”
