From Father to Husband: How One Man’s Actions Turned Innocence into Incest, Leading to His Arrest!

Police in eastern Uganda city of Jinja is holding a 40 yr old man for allegedly turning his 15 yr old daughter into a housewife.

Gregory Kasolo, a taxi driver and a resident of Bugembe parish in Jinja city was arrested after his neighbors got concerned about his stopping his daughter from going to school and giving her special attention.

One of the neighbors, Salome Nakacwa said that the mother of the girl and two younger children went to work in Dubai two year ago.

She said that 6 months ago ,Kasolo took the young children to a boarding school and started living with his daughter called Lovisa Kamese in the family house.

After sometime the neighbors got concerned when they observed that the girl was pregnant. They asked the girl who was responsible for the pregnancy and she told them that it was her father.

They reported the incident to police and it arrested Kasolo. When interrogated by police, Kasolo accepted that he was the one responsible for the pregnancy..

The neighbors resolved that Kasolo must be taken to court and be charged with defilement.They said that after being found guilty and serving the sentence,they do not want him to return to their village.
