Songstress Nimo Gachuiri Blasts Mr Seed Over Polygamy Remarks Made Online

Popular Kenyan Musician Moses Tarus Omondi famously known as Mr Seed has been blasted by his wife Songstress Nimo Gachuiri over the polygamy remarks he made online. The songstress took to her Instagram stories asserting that the remarks made by Mr Seed infuriated her. According to Nimo, Mr Seed’s comments on the matter made her look stupid before Netizens.

Nimo commented, “So I saw the snippet of the podcast done by Mr Seed him saying whatever he was saying. I didn’t even finish watching it. I was PISSED OFF. So I turned to him and asked, hizi sasa ni nini unasema surely. The next thing I said is that people must really think I am stupid,”

Nimo revealed that her husband responded to her by asking her to watch the entire podcast. She said that Mr Seed informed her that the particular part of the podcast was picked for it to have a large viewership and to trend. Nimo asserted, “What I want to say is whether it was for clout, it was an insensitive thing to say when you are clearly in a committed relationship,”

In a recent podcast, Mr Seed said that men are dogs after which he was seen shaking hands with another person to approve his comments.In a podcast, Mr. Seed said,”Sisi wanaume tunakuanga watu wako na akili sana. Naeza kaa na wewe in a relationship for like three years nakuangalia, already nishajua you don’t have what I want. Then siku moja unaamka unapata nigga ashafanya wedding. Unaeza kaa na uone msichana useme huyu ni wife. Maybe hata ni best friend wako. Men are created to be polygamous.”

Mr Seed Questioned About His Idea Of Polygamy

In an interview with Nairobi News, Mr Seed conveyed a sense of being strongly criticized by those who commented on a snippet of the video. He asserted that the statement was taken out of context as the debate on the podcast lasted an hour yet only 30 seconds of the video were highlighted.

Mr. Seed who was questioned about his idea of polygamy said,  “I have one wife, and I can never be polygamous. Why should I get a second wife when I have someone that I love? That is a statement that I have heard since my childhood that men are polygamous. I quoted that, but the way I said it came out in a wrong way.”

Mr. Seed added, “I have even sung for her that she is the only one. We are good; it’s just a small misunderstanding, and we have talked about it.”The musician acknowledged the pressure exerted by the online community insisting that it contributed to his wife, Nimo’s, reaction.
