Holy Fuck? Drama as Pilgrims get nasty on Martyrs’ Day Celebration

The Pearl of Africa witnessed some holy fuck as some of those who went to pray at Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine ended up fucking.

As thousands of Christians turned up in big numbers at Namugongo martyrs shrine 12 km from Uganda’s capital Kampala to commemorate the day on which martyrs were killed, there are also many who went there to drink alcohol and fuck or be fucked.

On every 3rd of June Christians, most Catholics converge at the Namugongo shrine to pray and also appreciate the 45 Anglican and Catholics who sacrificed their lives for their religions.

In 1886, 22 Catholics and 23 Anglicans, and dozens of Muslims were killed at Namugongo on the orders of the then king of Buganda, Mwanga II, because they had converted to Christianity leaving the pagan religion which he led.

In the mid-1950 Christians started holding pilgrimages at the place where shrines, one for Catholics and a mosque for Muslims were established. Pilgrims walk from within Uganda and neighboring countries including Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi. Some walk on foot from their villages and most arrive there a day or two to 3rd June.

Just adjacent to the shrine is a slum where sex workers Namugongo go and rent rooms where they get fucked by sex-hungry pilgrims. This time, the sex workers claim that they made a lot of money because many pilgrims went for their services.

” This year’s martyrs day has been good for us as sex workers. Many men came to buy us for sex. Can you imagine most of us were fucked by over 20 men in the three days since June 1st.” said one of the senior sex workers, Night Kalala.
