A new survey finds that people are turning to LinkedIn to find dates. LinkedIn boasts the largest professional networking site but the site is becoming more than a place to find jobs.” With Google searches for “how to meet people for dating” up a whopping 200 per cent since 2021, a survey of 505 single adults between the ages of 20 and 40 conducted by DatingNews.com found that 52 per cent of participants used LinkedIn as a dating site. According to LinkedIn’s community policies, it doesn’t accept people who use the platform as a “dating site”. The policies read, “LinkedIn is a professional networking platform, not a dating site. Do not use LinkedIn to pursue romantic connections, ask for romantic dates, or provide sexual commentary on someone’s appearance or perceived attractiveness. Do not send unwanted advances in messages, posts, or comments or send sexually explicit images to anyone on the platform,”
