Sex workers move with Bobi Wine

A group of over 20 sex workers has joined Bobi Wine’s campaign trail which is taking him across the country.

Bobi Wine has so far traveled to over 30 out of the 141 districts in Uganda campaigning for the Presidential vote in the January 2020 election.

Sex workers precede Bobi’s campaign train to canvass votes from clients

In all those districts, the sex workers have been following Bobi Wine to canvass votes for him while on duty.

The leader of the group, Sharon Kanala said, “We support Bobi Wine and his party, People Power. We want him to win the elections and help us to get jobs. That is why we go with him wherever he goes.”

Sharon added that while some of the sex workers travel to the district a day before Bobi’s campaign trail while others move behind his convoy in a hired vehicle.

Young supporters of Bobi drool over Kampala hookers

She said that those who precede him rent affordable lodge rooms in the towns and conduct their trade overnight.

“Most men in rural towns think women from Kampala are special and endeavor to sleep with us the moment we arrive. Since most young men support Bobi Wine, they book our services the moment they learn that we are an advance team of Bobi Wine’s campaign trail,” she observed.

She said that each of them can sleep with over 6 men in one night.

Sex workers send out word about their services through touts

Brenda Namazi, who moves behind Bobi Wine’s convoy, said that they get rooms not very far from Bobi WIne’s hotel and send out touts to inform men in the area that pro-Bobi’s women are available for sex.

She said that they do good business during the tours and will continue to follow Bobi Wine.

“There is nothing wrong with those women following Bobi Wine and selling their bodies to willing buyers. After all, it is not Bobi Wine who hires them to do so,” a supporter quipped.
