A Primary school  teacher in the central Uganda district of Wakiso has been arrested by police on allegations of defiling seven underage students.
According to the Metropolitan police spokesman, Patrick Onyango, the arrested teacher has been identified as 49-year-old James Sabiti, a teacher at government-aided Buguju Church of Uganda primary school.

The affected girls are aged between twelve and fifteen years and are in Primary six and seven. Onyango said that the students have testified that the teacher had been fondling some of them while caressing their thighs and breasts in his office. They said that he usually stayed at school until late in the evening after selecting a student to fuck from the office. Seven students also confirmed that he slept with them.

He said that it was the students themselves who got concerned about the teacher’s behaviour and wrote an anonymous letter and handed it to one of the members of the board of governors of the school. The member of the board of governors took the letter to Kakiri police station and the teacher was arrested.

The police officer in charge of family and children at the police station, Stella Nabakwasi thanked the students for being courageous and reporting the horny teacher. The deputy headmaster, Ronald Mwebe said that they had no idea about the teacher’s bad deeds but they are happy that now he is in the hands of the police.
