Prophetess Monica Nyambura is on the spot for the wedding of her best friend’s husband. Her best friend Shiku Jeremy reacted to the wedding photos that were circulating on social media. Blogger Martha Hinga shared the photos on her Facebook page comforting Shiku and encouraging her to be strong.
She wrote, “As you celebrate & congratulate your “Prophetess” for getting married for the third time, I have a Word for this young woman Shiku Jeremy, from the book of (Isaiah 54:6) for the Lord has called you like a woman forsaken & grieved in spirit, like a youthful wife when you were rejected.
“Do not fear You will not be ashamed, neither be disgraced FOR YOUR MAKER IS YOUR HUSBAND hao watoto wawili umeachwa nao Mungu atakulelea,” wrote Martha. Reacting to the post, Shiku wrote, “Amen, the Lord Jesus will never leave me nor forsake me in Jesus Mighty Name. I am blessed,”

Fans thronged Shiku’s social media pages to encourage as they castigated prophetess Monica for ruining her friend’s union. Monicah’s first marriage ended in separation in 2007 a year after she got her firstborn. Upon reflection on her past, the prophetess revealed, “I was naïve and accepted to be married because of family problems and the challenges of life.”
However, the prophetess found love in 2018 after tying the knot with the father of her second child, Wisdom Jabari. Their courtship only lasted for half a year before they exchanged vows. Over the following two years, Monica shared glimpses of her life with Samuel on her social media platforms, especially during her pregnancy. Around September 2020, she removed her wedding ring and ceased sharing photos of her husband, signalling a shift in their relationship.
When asked to share details about her marriage and separation, the prophetess remained elusive about the same and chose to share her thoughts on divorce. She said, “Divorce is bad and even God hates it,” Monicah emphasized, “but you cannot die in the name of marriage or the name of a husband.”
