Nursing Students From Kwadaso Nursing Training Suspended For One Year Over Leaked Sex Tape
A sex tape featuring two first-year students from the Kwadaso SDA Nursing and Midwifery Training College has gone viral. The management of Kwadaso SDA Nursing and Midwifery Training College in the Ashanti Region has taken disciplinary action against the students by handing them a one-year suspension. The decision was arrived at during a meeting with the school’s disciplinary committee during which the students admitted the offence.
During an interview on Kumasi-based OTEC FM, Nyansapo, on Tuesday, July 4, the Public Relations Officer for the school, Williams Adinkra said that the sexual encounter took place off campus. Initial reports indicated earlier that the sexual encounter occurred on the school premises.
“We met the three students immediately after the video surfaced online and they admitted the offence, the first two persons who were the ones who engaged in the sex bout and captured it in a video said they did it while on vacation. According to our investigation, the third person, who allegedly released the video, downloaded it from the girl’s phone and later demanded Ghc5,000 from her.”
He explained that when the girl failed to provide the demanded amount, the video was released and went viral on social media. Consequently, the girl responsible for releasing that video is likely to face disciplinary action upon her return to the college. He said, “While the three are all serving a one-year suspension, the one who released the video will be deboardinised upon their return.”
