Kilifi: Man Dies After Choking On Saliva During Foreplay Sex

An intimate moment has turned tragic after a 30-year-old man reportedly died as a result of choking, this is according to a statement that was filed at Kilifi Police Station. Bernard Omayo had visited his lover in Kilifi North Sub-County when tragedy struck in the early evening on Tuesday. His girlfriend reported the incident to the police.

The deceased’s girlfriend Cecilia Chepkurui, who resides in a rented house in the Mabirikani area hosted Bernard who arrived at 11:25 a.m. According to the young lady, Bernard got choked by saliva and died while engaging in the act.

 In the police records filed at 3 pm on the said day, under OB number 47/22/05/2024, Cecilia Chepkirui says, “…while engaging in sex foreplay, he got choked with saliva and collapsed, she then rushed for assistance from her immediate neighbours and rushed him to Kilifi County Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival,”

Cecilia rushed for help from immediate neighbours and took him to Kilifi County Hospital where he was pronounced dead. After visiting the scene, officers documented it and took the body to Kilifi County Hospital Morgue pending autopsy.
