I Ignored My Family- Rapper D-Black On Sextape Leak

Ghanaian rapper D-Black has revealed that he went through emotional pain in 2020 after an alleged sex tape of him went viral. The video rocked the internet after a young man alleged to be his ex leaked it online. Despite creating a stir online D-Black remained unperturbed by the sex video and went ahead to make jokes about it on social media.

In his most recent episode dubbed “Uncut with D-Black” the Ghanaian rapper revealed that the incident happened during the COVID-19 outbreak. He described how surprised he was because his voice was recognisable in the leaked sex tape despite remaining invisible during the performance. he shared,

“It happened during COVID-19 when I was stuck in America. I didn’t know that this person I was dealing with was bipolar, she did that.

“I did not realise my voice was in the video until the next morning because I was not in the video. So, the next morning I watched it myself,”

D-Black also revealed how he was overwhelmed with calls from his family members and friends. He also asserted that he refused to answer his mother’s calls since he was still dealing with the situation. He added,

“I didn’t say a word. So, when it happened, I didn’t know what to do. Everybody was calling me. My mother was calling me, but I did not pick up anybody’s call. It happened the night before.

“I woke up to like 300 missed calls. I was like which lie should I tell my mom? I said I’m not going to pick anybody’s call,”

In an attempt to die out the scandal, D-Black contacted his director to release his music video so that the scandal could go away.

“As soon as it happened, I called a director. That’s the only person I called. I said the video has to drop tomorrow, so make all the talking change to something else.

“Because I had not released a video in a while. I’ve tried as much as possible to be clean, but this was the first scandal I had been involved in,”

Not long after the nude scandal, D-Black received a fake award from Dr UN that also sparked conversations on social media.
