Ghanian Musician Wendy Shay Addresses Rumours She Sleeps With Rich Men For Money
Popular Ghanaian musician Wendy Shay has denied rumours that have been spreading about her personal life. The artiste addressed rumours that she is one of the celebrities who has been involved with rich men for financial gain.
She reiterated that social media cannot easily influence her to sleep with affluent men for financial gains to live a luxurious lifestyle, insisting that such thoughts don’t cross her mind even when she has to meet her needs.
In the video she shared on her social media platforms, Wendy challenged people who reiterated that she’s into such a lifestyle to prove that she is indeed in it:
“I think it’s high time I addressed some issues because I’m not happy. I am satisfied with the income I generate from music, be it 5,000 cedis or 100,000 cedis. I am not a greedy kind of person, nor do I allow myself to be pressured. By God’s grace, I can afford a Range Rover today, so I understand the principle of building on what you have.
“I am not the kind of girl you can link me to a big man or Sakawa boy; I don’t do that. Any rich man who claims to have had sex with me for money should come out and make it public. Some individuals are fabricating stories like this and people are also believing it,” she claimed.
Wendy Shay also distanced herself from associations with sugar daddies alias Sakawa boys. She reiterated that it’s impossible to get herself in such a situation. She also went ahead to call out any wealthy man who claimed to have had bedroom relations with her. ‘Sakawa boys’ is a term used to refer to men who engage in rituals to gain wealth.
