Eddy Kenzo Confirms Relationship, Child With Phiona Nyamutoro
Singer Eddy Kenzo has confirmed that he has sired a child with the minister of state for Energy and Mineral Development, Phiona Nyamutoro. Kenzo accompanied Nyamutoro as a plus one during the inauguration as the new minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development in charge of minerals.
The minister was sworn in alongside other new cabinet appointees. Chief Justice Alphonse Owiny Dollo presided over the event as President Yoweri Museveni witnessed the event.
Nyamutoro savoured a photo session with Kenzo after she took her oath. Kenzo congratulated his supposed close friend on her new milestone.
“It’s such a joy to witness your swearing in as the Minister of State for energy and mineral development (Minerals),” he posted.
Reports however emerged on how Nyamutoro has been a part of Kenzo’s music profession. She was reportedly on the frontline at his music festival at the Kololo Independence Grounds that took place on November 12, 2022, a huge success following the huge number of people that attended it.
Kenzo addressed a press conference a few days after the festival, where he got emotional as he thanked his fans for attending the event. Nyamutoro was a freshman legislator and youth representative in parliament and contributed to putting the show together. Late last year, Nyamutoro admitted to having worked with Kenzo at a professional level for a long period of time.
When he was asked about how he felt when Nyamutoro was declared minister in the cabinet reshuffle, he shared, “It’s a good feeling to see a friend achieving big promotions. Someone you know being appointed a minister, it’s a good feeling.”
