Ex-Governor Mike Sonko Narrates How Chewing ‘Muguka’ Affected His Sexual Performance

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has shared sentiments of how chewing Miraa affected him. His statements come at a time when the discussion on banning Miraa is ongoing in the country. ”Nikirudi back to my stress that I had those years, nikachapa kidogo mpaka huko chini mashini ikakataa. Sonko continued to state that there’s an alternative to chewing Muguka.

”Leaders of western Province wakona solution ya hii problem ya Muguka. We have a crop from the Western Province called Mukhombero. Actually, it’s cheaper than Muguka.”

Mike Sonko shared that Khalwale used to supply him with Mukhombero while he was in the government. Therefore he urged people to replace it with Mukhombero adding that it will aid men to deal with any problems to do with their bedroom skills.

In spite of many leaders supporting the ban, the President still maintained that Muguka is legal. His stand comes as a huge relief for farmers who plant Muguka and Miraa. The ban evoked mixed reactions among farmers and consumers from Embu County.
