A photo of the founder of Good News International Church, Paul Mckenzie and his wife Joyce Mwikamba has been trending online with many speculating that the two started a cult-like church together.
His wife Joyce Mwikamba is rarely seen in public and it is not certain whether the two are still together. Paul has been running his church in Shakahola, Malindi, where some of his followers have settled after selling their possession.

It is alleged that the photo of the two was taken in 2018 when they appeared in a court before former Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa for instructing kids not to go to school but rather attend his church.

MacKenzie was released on a KSh 500,000 bond with surety. It is alleged that this man had forced churchgoers to fast so as to meet Jesus. On being arraigned at Milimani Law Courts, many were shocked by his good health despite asking his followers to continue fasting as he had his meals as usual.
