Willy Paul: I have Been Celibate For Several Months

Kenyan musician Willy Paul has shared that he’s been practising celibacy for several months. Celibacy refers to engaging in sexual intercourse until marriage. Willy Poze shared that since he abstained from sex he has experienced career growth ever seen.

Willy Paul shared on Mic Cheque Podcast” I decided to abstain for the success of my album ‘Beyond Gifted.’ I am abstaining, I have abstained for a few months. I wanted to see how my career will be without sex. My career has shot since then. So far so good, God has been true to me.”

A few months ago rapper Stevo Simple Boy vowed to break his 10-month celibacy if Betty Kyallo accepted to date him. He stated he would only engage in sexual activity after being in a serious relationship further showing his confidence in Betty agreeing to be his girlfriend and later his wife.

He shared,”Mimi nko tafauti na wanaume wengine. Wanaume wengine wanasema ‘ahh mimi siwezi kukaa bila bibi mbaka nifanye usharati kidogo’. Hapana hii kitu ni kuvumilia, wee kua na subira utapata ubavu wako,”

Ex-husband to singer Vivianne known as Sam West shared that he had been celibate for two years. In an interview with a local media outlet, he said,  “I have been celibate for two years, There is too much peace. It also helps you heal fast after a breakup. If you break up with someone and jump into rebound relationships, it becomes difficult to heal.”
