Rapper Megan Thee Stallion Addresses Lesbian Sex in Ex-Photographer’s Lawsuit
Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has addressed claims that she had lesbian sex in front of her photographer in a harassment suit. The rapper’s lawyers denied the allegations and termed the lawsuit as “frivolous” according to Meghann Cuniff, a legal reporter.
The filing counters claims that were made by Emilio Garcia last month after accusing Megan of creating a hostile work environment. According to the rapper’s legal team, Garcia is a con artist and is manipulating the judicial system to act as his bullhorn and publicist.
The legal team shared: “Plaintiff took a run-of-the-mill wage and labour dispute governed by New York law under the terms of his contract and trumped it up with sensationalist claims of sex, debauchery, and workplace harassment for the sole purpose of seeking attention for his own middling amateur artist career and to tarnish the reputation of Megan”
The filing from Megan’s attorneys includes payment records and several invoices in addition to posts from Garcia’s Instagram that place him in Houston as enough proof that the lawsuit should be thrown out. They also accuse Garcia of listing Roc Nation, Meg’s management company as a ‘sham defendant’ since they have offices in California as Megan resides in Florida.
Roc Nation has denied ownership or affiliation with Megan’s companies nor employing Garcia in any capacity. Ron Zambrano, Emilio Garcia’s attorney revealed in a statement to HipHopDX:
“This is just another attempt by another celebrity to shame the victim and shift blame from their own abhorrent behaviour.
“In this case, Megan Thee Stallion never brought up any issues with Emilio accusing him of falsifying his invoices and overcharging that supposedly forced her to fire him until after he sued.”
He added: “Her attorneys are correct, our client is angry, but not by being so-called exiled ‘from the inner circles of stardom.’ He’s angry because of how he was treated. Megan Thee Stallion broke the law. Period. No one is lying here but her.”
In a lawsuit filed two months ago, Garcia argued that Megan fired him indecently from his job as a cameraman and owes him money for overtime and rest breaks. He also claims he witnessed the ‘Savage’ rapper engaging in sexual intercourse with another woman while travelling in a car in Ibiza.
He claims, Megan told him to avoid discussing the incident with any other person and berated him with comments like “fat bitch” and “you don’t need to be eating”
Megan’s attorneys previously hit out at the filing saying: “This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court.”
