Gospel Musician Christina Shusho Reveals How She Got Married At 19 Years
Tanzanian gospel musician Christina Shusho has revealed her mother’s concerns about her striking beauty that forced her to end her marriage at the time when she had just completed her secondary education. In a forum in Tanzania Shusho shared,
Shusho also acknowledged her past beauty, asserting that back in the day she was more stunning than she is presently. She said,
“Now, I’m a bit older, don’t tell me I’m beautiful; I was incredibly beautiful. So, when this man approached my mother expressing interest in me, she simply agreed out of fear. I was indeed very beautiful.”
The musician’s revelation happens at a time when she has been facing hate after disclosing to the public that she and her husband Johnny parted ways, asserting that the duo had distinct callings. She shared with New Jerusalem Church TV,
“Let me speak from the bottom of my heart… I have never been fake, and I don’t lie. The truth is, it’s just an assignment. There is nothing different other than that. The assignment God has given me this season cannot allow me to stay where I was. I had to leave to fulfil the assignment,”
Shusho stressed that her separation from her husband was amicable further revealing that she approached her husband respectfully and expressed her desire to set her free as she had a journey to embark on.
