Tiwa Savage and Davido’s Baby Mama Sophia Momodu Accuse Him Of Harassment
“This is in addition to several defamatory remarks and publications sponsored against the person of Ms. Sophia Momodu by your client through different social media blogs. Not only are this conduct and the actions of your client condemnable as they not only violate our client’s constitutionally guaranteed rights, but they also go against the principles of decency and respect.
“It is shocking that notwithstanding our earlier email to your good self, which was not responded to, and the Petition against your client currently being investigated by the Police, your client has continued with his disruptive and unlawful conduct. Our client, in the last couple of days, has been subjected to a series of coordinated attacks and cyberbullying orchestrated by your client and his cohorts.
“We are again, by this letter, reiterating our position expressed in our earlier email that your client would be held responsible for any harm that may befall our client as such will be a clear manifestation of the threats and premedicated ambitions of your client…”
Nigerian songwriter Tiwa Savage has also taken legal action against the Afrobeats star and accused him of issuing threats to her life. Tiwa wrote to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police expressing her concerns about the artist’s behaviour towards her online. According to the songstress, the threats stem from her relationship with Davido’s baby mama. Tiwa asserts that the threats spiralled when Tiwa shared a photo with the baby mama, Sophia Momodu. The petition read,
“I am writing to bring to your attention a distressing situation involving myself, Tiwatope Omolara Savage, popularly known as Tiwa Savage, and Mr David Adeleke popularly known as Davido.
“On the 23rd of December, I made a post which included myself and SophÃa Momodu on my Instagram Story- a feature on Instagram which allows you to put up a post for twenty-four hours, and Mr David Adeleke sent messages to my manager who’s also part of his management team that I shouldn’t worry and should never say a word to him and that I was taunting him, uttering very disrespectful, malicious and derogatory words to my person. I responded to MR. DAVID ADELEKE’S message and told him to reach out to me especially as I felt like I had been there for him and his daughter, I made, and more importantly when he lost his son.”
