Ugandan doctor Dr Kizza Blair took to social media to explain the risks of individuals engaging in sexual intercourse in or on the toilet. Dr Kizza explained the risks in the wake of an incident where a popular DJ Christine Nampeera was captured in a viral video fucking her boyfriend. According to the doctor, having sexual intercourse in the toilet is risky as it carries serious health risks.

He said,  “First off, there’s a heightened risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs) due to the unhygienic environment of a public restroom. Always prioritize safe and clean spaces for intimate moments. Another concern is the transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) like chlamydia, gonorrhoea and even HIV. Public restrooms may not offer the privacy and cleanliness needed to engage in safe sexual practices,”

He also went on to mention the increased risks of contracting HIV/AIDS and unexpected pregnancies especially if one doesn’t use condoms during sexual intercourse.“It is important to mention that even if you are not having penetrative sex; skin-skin contact can still expose you to contagious conditions like herpes and genital warts. To mitigate these risks, consider engaging in sexual activities in a private, clean and comfortable space. If you do find yourself in a public restroom, remember to use barriers like condoms or dental dams and thoroughly clean up afterwards,”
In a prior post on her X page, Christine apologized for her uncalled behaviour towards her family, boyfriend Mr Barasha and her friends for the trending video.
Dr Blair further noted that people should be careful about having sex in the toilet as it may lead to an instance of non-consensual activity if either of the parties is under the influence of alcohol. It is alleged that Ms Christine Nampeera and her boyfriend were filmed secretly by an unknown person through a toilet window. Their video is already trending on various social media platforms.
She asserted that what had been recorded was a private affair. “Guys, please stop sharing those videos. I am suicidal right now,” Christine Nampeera later said. The videos being shared on social media continue to make waves in East Africa and are being used to unite various regions that are often at loggerheads on social media wars.
