Bombshell Book Claims Queen Letizia of Spain Cheated on King Felipe
A bombshell book claims that Spain’s King Felipe was crushed and destroyed by his wife’s cheating. Jaime Penafiel’s latest book dubbed Letizia’s Silnces was released on Wednesday and claims that the king was aware that Queen Letizia was cheating on him on a trip to New York in 2011.
According to Penafiel, the king was aware of his wife’s infidelity escapades since his bodyguards were expected to inform him of the Queen’s whereabouts. The royal author asserted that she was accompanied by her lover Jaime del Burgo during her travels. The 51-year-old allegedly dated him prior to meeting King Felipe in 2002.
As per The Daily Mail, Penafiel wrote in his book, “That day [in New York], she was accompanied by her faithful escorts, who, without a doubt, would pass a report to the Ministry of the Interior or [the Palace of] Zarzuela,” The author added that the Spanish monarch was “plunged into hell” by his wife’s alleged “betrayal” and “wants to get out.”
Letizia’s lover who is the son of former politician, Jamie Ignacio del Burgo, was cuffed to her sister Telma between the years of 2012 and 2014. The fifty-four-year-old businessman is based in the UK.
The outlet adds that Burgo contributed to Penafiel’s tell-all book. He further reiterated in the book that “everything in Letizia’s world has been broken” due to her “deceit, adultery and betrayals.”
The reporter criticized the Spanish Queen’s character terming her as “cold, indestructible, and determined.”Penafiel reported that she often “resorts to silence as a way of controlling and punishing other people.”
