Women in Berlin are now free to enjoy a topless dip in the public pools after the city of Berlin declared that it will treat all nipples equally so as to promote gender equality. The move happens months after a female swimmer was barred from swimming topless in December 2022.
Women in Brazil can flaunt their bare chests
The woman in question lodged a formal complaint for any indiscrimination and authorities ruled that visitors in Berlin would hence be allowed to have a topless dip. Back in April, Gottingen became the first German city to loosen its regulations on topless swimming. This happened after a male was turned away from a swimming pool since he wanted to swim with a bare chest.
