Uganda President Museveni Pushed to Take Swift Action Against Dangerous Prostitution Dens in Kampala
Prostitution in Uganda is nothing new! Be it day or night, sex workers have been operating openly in Kampala and in major urban areas.
Prostitutes in Kampala frequently clad in provocative attire, strategically position themselves in close proximity to hotel entrances, showcasing their bodies to entice male clients.
Some parents now want President Museveni to rescue them.
“We are losing families and children to this trade of prostitution and what makes matters worse. The trade is becoming too open and official” Nakayi a mother said.
She said “Please tell the President to close the prostitution centres in Kampala and in other towns.
We need help Mr. President we have lost families and our children”
Others parents and Locals leaders blame police for covering the trade.
“We ask the Police to wake up and arrest the Prostitutes” a local leader in Kampala one Mukasa said today.
