Pritty Vishy: My StepFather Sexually Assaulted Me Every Single Night

In a recent interview with media personality Oga Obinna, popular Instagrammer Pritty Vishy opened up about her traumatic past experience with her stepfather. Vishy revealed that she loved her stepfather until her life took a turn after losing her grandfather. She said that her stepfather sexually abused her back in their home in Kibera slums a thing that left her traumatized.

She shared that her stepfather would jump on her when her mother had blacked out and grope her bust. Vishy revealed that she experienced this sexual assault in class three since she had hit puberty and had big boobs. During the interview, she narrated,

“Ilikua inafika usiku baba yangu anajifanya nini nini then when I sleep he comes and then anaanza kunishika matiti and at that time mi nilianza, hormones zangu I think zilipick up haraka coz nilianza kumea matiti when I was so young. I think I was class three,”

Adding, “So nilikua traumatized as a kid because every single night I had to go through that.”

Pritty narrated leaving home to go and seek refuge at her grandmother’s place. Upon discovering the assault, Pritty’s mother turned to elders for help but she was met with the unexpected defence of her husband. Upon being frustrated by their inaction, she decided to escalate the issue to the chief. On being apprehended, the stepfather was put in custody for some time before being released. He returned to Pritty’s mother and pledged to refrain from the uncouth behaviour.

Vishy asserted that her mother opted not to part ways with her stepfather because she believed she wouldn’t be able to raise her children on her own. She narrated, “My mom didn’t want to leave because alikua anafeel akileave where will she go. Pritty said despite the actions they took her father didn’t refrain from sexually assaulting her.
