"We'll Help You Find A Wife," Journalist Jacque Maribe's Birthday Message To Dennis Itumbi

Former Citizen TV Journalist Jacque Maribe has written a special message to Digital Strategist Dennis Itumbi on his birthday. On her Insta stories, Maribe appreciated their twenty years of friendship with a special message with a promise to help the digital strategist find a wife. Jacque wrote,

“Happy birthday Dennis Itumbi. The two solid decades of friendship have been a testament to highs and lows and love all the same,”

Maribe accompanied the special message with a photo. In the photo, the duo is seen posing with their heads locked accompanied by their friends wearing broad smiles. Jacque Maribe wrote, “This new year around the sun, this group in this picture will help you find a wife so everyone stops assuming it’s me. Happy birthday D.I,”

According to rumours circulating on social media, the duo was once an item at some point. Jacque Maribe issued clarity on the claims saying that she and Dennis Itumbi were just friends. In January 2020, the journalist shared a one-word line noting the beauty of their friendship. She wrote, “Friendship is and always will be us @dennisitumbi for rain, for shine, for getting through it all together.” Dennis Itumbi wrote back, “And my friend @jacquemaribe turned up to cheer up a friend. Asante.”

On February 9 this year, Dennis expressed his elation following the acquittal of Jacque Maribe in businesswoman Monica Kimani’s murder case. Itumbi was part of the friends and family who waited for the final verdict in the courtroom. Shortly after Justice Grace Nzioka finished reading the judgement, Itumbi asserted that Jacque was a pawn in the case. He said, “It has been six years, a journey of shadows, where unjust chains sought to bind the spirit of a great friend, a charming personality, a friend I treasure much,” he said.
