The Most Dangerous Sex Position According To a Tiktok Doctor

An NHS doctor cum tiktok star has shared the most dangerous sex style which he asserts is the cause of 50% of penis fractures. Dr Karan Rajan, a popular surgical doctor shares his knowledge and experience with more than five million followers on Tiktok.In a video that’s circulating online, Dr Karan informed his followers about the most likely sex position that would lead to a hospital visit. According to the Mayo Clinic,  “Although rare, a penis fracture can occur when there is trauma to an erect penis,” according to the Mayo Clinic.

The tiktok doctor gave the title to the reverse cowgirl sex position whose erratic movements during sexual intercourse especially when the two sexual partners ate not in sync could make the penis slip out and be crushed by their sex partner’s pubic bone which would cause a fracture. In as much as the penis is boneless, the word “fracture” describes a tear in the tunics albuginea which refers to fibrous tissue connecting the framework of the testis and allows the penis to grow big during an erection.

The health organization further notes that “Patients who suffer from a “penile fracture” and don’t undergo treatment can suffer from erectile dysfunction, scarring and a permanent curvature of the penis. Indicators of a potential penis fracture include a rapid loss of erection, cracking or popping sound, penile shaft discolouration due to bleeding underneath the skin and immediate penile pain.

In a past study published in 2018 in the International Journal of Impotence Research titled, “Relationship between sexual position and severity of the penile fracture,” researchers established that the doggy style is regarded as the most dangerous sex position when it comes to penile fractures. 41 per cent of penile fracture cases are reported due to this sex position. Dr Karan’s popular clip which was posted back in 2021 and has recently gone viral, has garnered millions of views and racked up to 411,000 likes on social media.

Many of his followers on social media were saddened by the educational video with one of the social media users writing, “This is my favourite sex position,” captioning it with a sad face emoji. Another social media user wrote, “My husband is now scared to come near me because of that.”In the comment section, Dr Karan answered viewers who wanted evidence of the claims. He shared, ” Men coming to the emergency room with this issue.”Another one who wanted clarification said,  “Just to clarify, by breaking it, will it look swollen and bigger? How long will this swelling last? Asking for a friend.”
