Danson Gichuhi alias Bishop Johanna of Christian Committed Gospel Church is the talk of social media after an indecent video of him ‘casting out demons’ out of a churchgoer went viral. In the controversial video, Johanna is seen applying anointing oil on the woman’s body. He is depicted massaging the anointing oil on the woman’s breasts and private parts. In the background, another woman’s voice can be heard helping the pastor to cast out demons.

Many Netizens deemed his actions inappropriate as others called for his arrest and other pastors of his calibre. Pastor Johanna has come out to defend his mode of deliverance. In an interview with a local media house, Pastor Johanna asserted that he was delivering the woman in question since she allegedly had a demon in her called Carol.

He asserted, “Mtu anafanyiwa deliverance is not carol. Kila mtu anayefanyiwa deliverance the maroho inside them have an identity and the spirit inside her is carol….Her name is Wanjiru but Carol is the lady who took her husband from her,”Pastor Johanna also revealed that he began his ministry in 2010 and only started trending in 2014 after delivering some people at a local media station who had been tormented by evil spirits. The Bishop quit doing business to focus on his calling which is ministry work.

Pastor Johanna’s Female Congregant Narrates Her ‘Anointing’ Experience

One of the female congregants narrated how he was allegedly mishandled by Pastor Johanna when she went for deliverance at his church. She narrated,

” That Sunday I went to see him. When I reached the church I knocked. He directed me to a room which is slightly dark and told me to lie down. He placed one leg on top of me and started sprinkling some water on me as he gently rubbed my skin…
